We offer cold infused calendula oil for all of you calendula fans out there! It's our own special blend of apricot kernel oil and jojoba, two top carrier oils for skin, cold infused with beautifully dried golden organic calendula flowers. Our oil blend and method of cold infusion with triple filtering makes an outstanding high quality calendula oil.
What is Calendula?
Calendula has been shown to have wound healing properties. It stimulates granulation tissue (the “filler” in a wound) and immune activity. It also has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, and is thought to be analgesic, although more clinical testing is needed to show its ablility to ease pain. Calendula infused oil, and skin care products made with calendula infused oil, can be used for a variety of skin ailments.
It can calm red and irritated skin, making it useful for any hot skin conditions such as minor burns (including sunburns), boils, bruises and overly dry, chapped skin. It helps speed the healing of cuts, scrapes and other minor wounds, and may help prevent infection. It can be used to ease fungal infections, such as athlete’s foot, and may even be helpful as a muscle cream ease sprains and strains.
It’s useful for exzema and different types of dermatitis when skin may be too sensitive for creams packed with harsh ingredients. Its gentle and healing nature makes it an excellent choice to ease diaper rash, and it’s generally safe enough to use on sore nipples while nursing.

Calendula is considered a safe and gentle healing herb. While some studies claim that there have been no adverse effects shown from its use, we read one that found 2% of their subjects tested has an adverse reaction to calendula. It’s a small number, but large enough that it should be mentioned. Caution should be used by people with allergies to other plants in the Asteraceae family, of which the common allergen ragweed is part of.
Ingredients: apricot kernel oil (Prunus armeniaca), jojoba (Simmondsia chinesis), organic calendula flowers (Calendula officinalis), rosemary oleoresin (Rosmarinus officinalis) and love (amor).
1oz and 2oz Calendula Oil is bottled in recyclable amber glass with black pump top and labels made from corn.
16oz Calendula Oil is bottled in recyclable HDPE, made from 100% recycled materials (25% post consumer, with push cap top and labels made from recycled paper.
